Responsible for complete Ford manual transmission gear shift system as a New Product Introduction with engineering from Germany and Korea. I was accountable for the complete Ford program with responsibility to meeting all deliverables for the successful execution for technical and quality commitments, as this was the first time SL Corporation were sourced by Ford (2014).
Analysed the SOW to ensure all requirements were prepared and accounted for. Established the program management system to acknowledge the Customer requirements and Costing. Assist in monitoring the profit and loss of each project.
Established the successful initiation of SL Corporation into Ford, with a global strategy. Responsible for the program Budget and supervised a team of local Project Managers, Coordinators and Engineers, and Suppliers to ensure all targets were met through the program lifespan and ensured quick and effective solutions to development and production issues.
Establish detailed Program Timing, develop project plans, set milestones and coordinated activities from design to mass production phase, including Quality phase coordination and PPAP and Change management. Was the hub and interface between the Customer and product and process development, plants, sales and purchasing. Participated in training and coaching the SL personnel with complete Ford procedures and Programme management.
Was the technical lead in all engineering and commercial activities. Established a global Cross Functional Team, have set priorities, objectives and goals and controlled all tasks, assignments and requirements through APQP. Highlight and enforced Risk Management through DFMEA and PFMEA to a very high level. Led all meetings and documents and communicated team activities.
Prepared and provided design and process gate reviews, program management metrics and reports for senior management and Customers through written reporting, APQP & Master Timing Plans and Customer on-line portal reporting.
Consult on PPAP requirements and execution. Achieved on time PSWs!
Enforced communication as a key deliverable within the whole team!
Led and executed a more than successful flawless launch in SL Poland, China and India production facilities with appraisals from all the representative Ford management. Met the cost, delivery and quality deliverables with the result that SL Corporation was awarded many new programs.

Initiated SL Poland Q1 award, which was received in February 2019.

Assisting in Business Development and Sales. Project Manager: Automotive Plastic parts for chroming, from start of enquiry, tooling concept to PPAP and quality issues through to SOP. Complete project.

Consulting and assisted in QS ISO TS 16949 Project Management audits.Temporary 6 month assignment as PLT (Problem Lösungs Team Leader) and Program Manager for Daimler sunroof glass encapsulation unit in Inalfa Poland. Assignment to improve production and capacity and install program management into the In-House Encapsulation unit within the plant. Then successfully integrated the IHE into the main Inalfa PDP Roof program management system. I was requested to join Inalfa Roof Systems in Holland to take on a permanent role as a Program Manager within the Headquarters for an OEM customer!
3 month contract (Hayes) for an emergency induction for the Ford NA Business Unit, Assistance Steering Wheel

Held many appointments for other customers as automotive Project Manager, for mechanical gear shifters, electrical automotive lighting systems, electrical motors, galvanic and choming plastic parts, industrial and agricultural equipment exhaust systems and emission control, development for Tier 1 Inalfa : BMW and MB. Worked for a plasic injection mold maker and component assembly as project manager. Short term roles as APQP leader, and initiated and completed full PPAPs for Volta Trucks and JLR automatic transmissions.
Due to Ford exiting the gearshift development which are not required for BEVs, I will finish my 'rolling' contract with SL Corporation.
Now looking for a light project managment role which could focus on APQP and PPAPs and other quality functions.
