2021 - 2025:
Over the past 4 years in the ad space, I've worked in the following areas:
- Development of services for real-time ad mediation between DSPs and publishers (radio stations, streaming platforms like Spotify) using gRPC and MQTT for service-to-service communication
- Building web interfaces (Svelte/Angular/React) and backends for configuration, ad booking, and interactive dashboards with on-demand aggregations primarily from NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, MongoDB) and SQL
- Development of an Ad Creator that generates AI audio ad spots (text, voice, music, and ad image)
- Development of mobile applications for streaming audio from various radio stations running through our systems
- Optimization of business and internal processes (through algorithms such as bin packing for ad inventory utilization) and internal DevTools and scripts
- Building data pipelines for capturing, processing, and analyzing streaming behavior
- Implementation of vector databases for similarity detection in audio ad spots to ensure "Competitive Separation" (competing brands are not played back-to-back); and for mapping various advertising category catalogs (IAB, Facebook, eBay, etc.) to a unified master catalog
- Development of dynamic ad delivery based on real-time conditions (e.g., weather, location)
