Challenge

Systems Engineering, requirements- and test engineering for the development process of the Xl innovation vehicle based on the LOTUS Eletre model by defining the process landscape and requirements analysis using System Weaver.

Contribution

  • Implementation of a Systems Engineering Approach and its Verification
  • Project work
  • Refinement of the specifications and HW/SW design of the chassis mechatronic systems Brake by Wire, Steer by Wire, and Full Active Suspension about the development of the innovation vehicle Xl.
  • Definition of system tests related to the chassis mechatronics systems in natural language for the test department.
  • Creation of use cases, function descriptions and realization based on previously defined requirements for handover to the Chinese project manager.
  • Creation of detailed technical documentation with weekly reports.
  • Review the requirements for the test department about their consistency, traceability, and testability.
  • Review of compliance of the defined and System Weaver deposited requirements for the test department and documentation of the results in System Weaver.
  • Development of a systems engineering approach
  • Analysis of the general process landscape of the Chassis Mechatronic department about the efficiency of the software toolchain and implementation of Systems Engineering.
  • Creation of a concept and a recommendation for actions regarding the optimization potential of the software toolchain based on the analysis and subsequent handover to the overall project manager.
  • Creation of an analysis of the project-specific requirements stored in System Weaver about the basic technical requirements (Use cases, FDR, FR SDR, SWRS, SOW)
