The bright young Blockchain Startup Polyrcypt started it's way in the HIGHEST Entrepreneur Startup Incubator in Darmstadt near Frankfurt a. M. and is aiming at bringing new innovative services based on the the Ethereum network to their customers.
After a successful round of funding, Polycrypt needed to realign their business strategy to adapt to the fast developing crypto industry. My role was to coach and consult the founders in defining a new strategy that was aligned with the vision, helping them to achieve their ambitious sales-oriented targets.
The HIGHEST project was founded by Prof. Dr. Peter Buxmann and is aiming at helping young students and employees of the TU Darmstadt on their first steps to founding their own startup. The dedicated team of consultants and coaches are helping the entrepreneurs in organizing their teams, shaping their ideas, plan the next steps and gain them access to their large network in the startup scene.

After an intensive period of growth, meshCloud was was in need of new Vision and Objectives to align their team on working towards a common goal. To achieve this, together with the founders we developed OKRs accross teams and departments and restructured processes to fit the new goals.
My role was to support this process by consulting and coaching the founders and executives in middle management and onboard the entire staff in workshops.
In 2019, epple were in need of reorientation and a new agile mindset for their executives and employees to adapt to the volatile development in the market conditions of their field.
My role was to support the company in this transformational process by developing a new vision for the employees to be able to identify themselves with. This vision was supposed to be based on the newly developed company values that the teams defined together with their leaders. In a workshop with more than 150 participants specifically designed for epple, the 'eppleianer' came together to define these company values and their foundation of the true identity of epple.
Later on I consulted epple during their journey to define new internal and external interfaces and new strategic goals to place their innovative products in the rapidly changing market.
Milestones reached successfully together and responsibilities during my cooperation with epple were:

The executives of Epple Druckfarben AG decided, that the company needs to undergo a major transformation to face their challanges.
Our goal was to facilitate the change process, starting with the the two days workshop with the CEO and his team of executives in order to strengthen their cooperation and help them on their way of developing their leading skill sets, including:

Unbias cooperation
Awareness for silo-thinking and ways to overcome
Finding initiatives for department development
Following the workshop the company of over 300 employees world wide decided on implementing a major change to their way of working. Together we developed a new Vision for the Epple teams and its different facilities around the globe.
Especially the company values workshop with more than 150 participants inspired the teams to develop their own ideas of how they want to tackle their challanges. At the same time it set a foundation for a deep rooted change in the hearts and minds of the employees.
With the Grow Program Fraport is aiming at giving their managers the opportunity to further develop their leadership skills in various way. At the Grow forum, participants of the program came together to listen to the Keynote 'Viererkette des Erfolges' of Mr. Herbert Fandel.
My goal was to develop and execute a Training based on methods used in Improvisational Theater to the topics 'Decisions in high-pressure situations', 'Authenticity' and 'Handling critical experiences constructively' to ensure the transfer for the employees.
Heraeus and HIGHEST cooperated in creating a Startup-Week, which was aimed at transferring knowledge between executives of Heraeus and young startup-teams by giving their employees the opportunities to follow the every-step of the startups for one week.
My goal was to give a Training for the executives what to expect in the world of young founders as a Kickoff for the week, and moderate the day through pitches of the various startups in the programm.
The IT-department of the TU-Darmstadt wants their students to be able to present their results and project status in an adequat and effective way, enabling them inform their peers and stakeholders without having to fear unwanted exposure or their point of view being overheard.
In the wake of the project, I coached over 100 students building up their presentational strengths and find their own stlye of presenting.
The young engineers of the VWI|Estiem were looking to strengthen their teamwork and improve their internal workprocesses. Together with Minh Luong I desgined an interactive training to introduce Agile Workpractices & established a mindset of trust and appreciation.
In this project of the Software Engineering chair of the IT-department of the TU-Darmstadt students of the Technische Universität Darmstadt have the goal to desgin & develop an application for an actual industrial customer over the period of 6-12 months.
I was invited to design and execute a Kick-off event for single teams and to accompany the teams as an agile coach, moderating retrospectives & planning sessions, enabling the teams to structure their internal workflow.
In order to compete with modern day challenges, Lufthansa Group had to restructure their Partnership Management. During the orientation event, I was invited to assist by giving a keynote speech to address the fears of the upcoming changes, and how to deal with them.

The professional group of young improvisational theatre players wanted to be recognized in the scene by hosting their own, innovative festival. My role was to help develop the ideas, form the team and enable their inspiring vision of a new form of festival, that breaks with the known standards to create something unique.

At the Junior Round Table event Lufthansa Cargo gathers all the young potential in order to open their minds to new possibilities in the firm. One of their key messages: Think outside the box. I was invited to give a keynote speech on how to enable creative thinking by using improvisational theatre techniques.

The goal of the project was to develop a web based application to, after training, detect anomalies in any sets of data. The app was to be used by the researchers of AGT International as well as to be shipped out as a product for external customers.
My role in the project was:
The goal was to develop an algorithm to test faces of pedestrians recognized in a camera picture against a database.
My role was to support the team in developing a suite to analyse the performance of the developed algorithm by allowing them to execute automated test runs against a set of prerecorded data.
The project was aiming at researching a way to detect flooded streets the picture of a traffic camera.
My role was to look into the method using a histogram of oriented gradients combined with support vector machines and develop a prototype.
The goal of the project was to develop a software suite able to track any car found in a camera part of a grid of traffic cameras. For the newly developed algorithm to work, an automated camera calibration was needed. While the contractor team of the DFKI in Kaiserslautern created the (CUDA & openCV based) tracking algorithms, AGT International provided the suite implementing those.

In my years of working for the HDA at the TU Darmstadt I was given the tools and experience to train and coach small to medium teams, design workshops and team strategies and efficiently moderate conversations.
Here I further deepened my understanding of how to guide a team and enable it to reach their aimed at goals
In my years working as a Software Developer for AGT International I learned what it means to work in small, agile teams, but also the challenges of more than 100 people contributing Code to a project. I learned what clean coding means and learned to value structured work, how to follow and how to lead without dictating and the importance of constant, recurring improvement of work processes.
In my later role as Scrum Master I learned what it means to enable a team as a servant leader. Over the years I gathered experience in facilitating the Scrum Rituals and focusing on improving the productivity of the team, clearing out roadblocks and keeping the team happy and healthy.
