As a Programme/Senior Project Manager since more than 15 years I lead mainly infrastructure/network and Software Development projects, delivering large-scale IT projects, managing many rollouts within ?mission critical? environments. These Projects were successful managed in the Railway-, Financial Services-, Telecommunication -, Insurance and Manufacturing Industry.

Organisation, Governance, resource and budget planning, contract management, planning, controlling and co-ordination,  negotiations with vendors, 3rd party management, development of work streams and processes, quality management, reporting, test and acceptance are the usual tasks in progressing my projects.

 

I have successfully managed (international) projects with teams of up to 50 engineers with internal teams and 3rd party companies within matrix managed structures as well as project portfolios. During these projects I have been required to converse with the Business, company management/ Stakeholders, lawyers, and I get a good knowledge of diplomatic and political requirements.

 

All recent projects were implemented using Prince 2 methodology (accredited Practitioner). Recent projects were selected as winner by BCS (ATOC) and Winner of The Banker Technology Award 2008 in the 'Infrastructure Strategy' category (IBM/LTSB). Further projects followed in UK with IBM/RSA Insurance, IBM/SABMiller, IBM/Carphone Warehouse, IBM Ireland/Bank of Ireland, Merck in Darmstadt, Deloitte LLP in London and Zurich, Lafarge Holcim/Zurich and Apleona/Zurich.

As a Programme/Senior Project Manager since more than 15 years I lead mainly infrastructure/network and Software Development projects, delivering large-scale IT projects, managing many rollouts within ?mission critical? environments. These Projects were successful managed in the Railway-, Financial Services-, Telecommunication -, Insurance and Manufacturing Industry.

Organisation, Governance, resource and budget planning, contract management, planning, controlling and co-ordination,  negotiations with vendors, 3rd party management, development of work streams and processes, quality management, reporting, test and acceptance are the usual tasks in progressing my projects.

 

I have successfully managed (international) projects with teams of up to 50 engineers with internal teams and 3rd party companies within matrix managed structures as well as project portfolios. During these projects I have been required to converse with the Business, company management/ Stakeholders, lawyers, and I get a good knowledge of diplomatic and political requirements.

 

All recent projects were implemented using Prince 2 methodology (accredited Practitioner). Recent projects were selected as winner by BCS (ATOC) and Winner of The Banker Technology Award 2008 in the 'Infrastructure Strategy' category (IBM/LTSB). Further projects followed in UK with IBM/RSA Insurance, IBM/SABMiller, IBM/Carphone Warehouse, IBM Ireland/Bank of Ireland, Merck in Darmstadt, Deloitte LLP in London and Zurich, Lafarge Holcim/Zurich and Apleona/Zurich.
