Lead of business transformation projects including migration of business processes to external service providers or internal service centers:

• Transformation/Migration of procurement processes "Contract management of direct material for food production" to regional service centers (APAC, MEU, North and South America). Key figures: 60 employees in 4 regional service centers / project realized within 12 months instead of the planned 15 months.
• Transformation/Migration of procurement processes “Indirect material and services” to external service providers (MEU and APAC). Key figures: Outsourcing of services with an annual value of $ 36 million / project realized within 9 months instead of the planned 12 months.
• Transformation/Migration of statutory accounting processes in the EMEA region to external service providers. Key figures: Outsourcing of services with an annual value of $ 6.3 million / project realized within 12 months instead of the planned 14 months.

Accountable for asset management processes in End User Computing (desktops / laptops / multi-functional print devices):

• Manage external partners to ensure agreed services for managed print devices.
• Development and implementation of a concept to optimize / reduce the multifunctional print devices and the running costs by recurring analysis of running costs. Key figures: Reduction of the annual costs by more than 500K USD.
• Procurement / renewal / disposal of HW as well as introduction and securing the operation of an asset database (change management processes).

• Roll-out of new Windows version
• Cost reduction projects for 1st to 3rd Level Support
• Reduction of non-SAP applications with focus on standard applications

Coordination and realization of IT projects in the context of investment strategies. Providing reliable and efficient IS solutions and ensuring the smooth operation of systems in the production area. Responsible for the development and maintenance of applications in the areas of production/logistics plant Bern

• Lead of several LAN/WLAN-Network migration/implementation projects
• Lead of project “Implementation IT-infrastructure for Kraft Europe Headquarter in Zürich“ which did include electrical installation, LAN/WAN cabling and equipment, deployment of End User Computing (620 workstations),file and application server, Multi Functional Printers, Voice over IP –telephony, deployment of Telepresence equipment.
• Lead of Windows migrations (NT to W2K, W2K to XP)
• Lead of “Migration Oracle databases and applications to Oracle V8/V9”
• Lead of project “Migration of global applications to new European Datacenter“
• Lead of project “Replacement of legacy warehouse management system by SAP WM “

Accountable for the maintenance and preservation of the value of the buildings (CHF 65 million) and equipment (CHF 45 million) of the production site in Bern. Management of the departments Maintenance Projects & Planning, Energy, Central Maintenance, Facility Managment with up to 60 employees. Budget responsibility CHF 8 million
