Did I achieve what was expected of me?

Yes, David was able to fully play the role that was assigned to him and to cope with his responsibilities delivering high quality deliverables in line with the project timeline. David’s main responsibilities included building, driving and executing multiple cutover plans for the different Go-Lives planned according to the Deployment Strategy (Pilot Brands – Oct. 2016; Business Intelligence – Nov. 2016; Polo Factory Stores – Feb. 2017; Wholesale, Retail and E-Com Channels – Apr. 2017). Same responsibilities applied both to Cutover and Dress Rehearsal, where this phase was intended to be a simulation of the real Cutover. What was challenging about the role were the overlapping activities and the tight timeline that he needed to face, resulting in high workload and high level of pressure. Another element of complexity linked to the role was the high number of stakeholders he needed to manage, often with conflicting priorities, requiring him to acquire an understanding of all the various aspects of a project delivery from Infrastructure readiness to Basis requirements and transports strategy/approach, from Security needs to Data Conversion strategy and timeline, from Functional requirements to solution set up and readiness. David’s role was a high visibility one, also from a Senior Leadership perspective, both from Accenture and Client side, in a project phase where there was no room for delays and any criticality/issue needed to be faced with the highest priority and in an extremely effective manner.

What are my most notable achievements and what can I improve?

David’s most notable achievements include:

1. play an extremely challenging and high pressure role in a very professional way and always with a good mood. What was impressive was his ability to manage conflicts;

2. he was able to gain the respect and trust of all project stakeholders, including Project Senior Leadership;

3. he produced high quality deliverables, in a very complex scenario, due to the huge delivery and deployment scope, in line with the project timeline, despite the many overlapping activities (i.e. Polo Factory Store cutover in parallel with Wholesale, Retail and E-Com Channels Dress Rehearsal);

4. his cutover plan was accurate, taking into consideration all dependencies with a proper estimation of duration and correct assignment of tasks among the project resources;

5. David was able to properly drive and coordinate the different task owners; his communications were always accurate and with the appropriate mood.
