2018: BMC-Control-M and IT Service Management

• Definition of Best-Practice approaches for Workload Automation, Continious Deployment, and IT Service Management, based on BMC products

2011 – 2018: Special UC4 Tasks

• Tasks:
  • Handling of special customer requirements in various projects: cooperation with interface middleware as SAP PI or Oracle Fusion, enabling of massive parallel operations to meet performance requirements, cooperation with load balance frameworks, with legacy technologies like COBOL systems, evaluation of an UC4 integration with BMC Atrium, etc

2015 – 2017: SQL Interface Programming

• Tasks:
  • Development of ca 15 data exports interfaces for a large book distributor.
  • The customer had to supply address, product and sales data to its various client publishers in various formats.
  • The interface data was selected in the Oracle DB of the ERP system, formatted and exported with PL-SQL.
  • All processes were controlled by UC4

2012 - 2017: UC4 Automic Scheduler Interfaces

• Customer: Klopotek GmbH
• Tasks:
  • various projects for Klopotek GmbH
  • Elsevier, Neue Wirtschaftsbriefe, HarperCollins
  • Interface developments for schedulers to cooperate with UC4, to protect former investments and to enable amster control of the Klopotek ERP system
  • Attached schedulers: Voyager Q32, Sopra, Oracle, Windows, others; independent UC4 systems with different versions or other separation needs;
• Technology: UC4 java interface, UC4 CallApi

2011 – 2017: UC4 Version Changes and Patch Management

• Tasks:
  • Handling of UC4 version changes from V8 via V9 to V11, with some express fixes in between.
  • Handling of different installation speeds of various version dependent components at customer sites.

2010 – 2016: SQL Data Migrations

• Customer: Klopotek GmbH
• Tasks:
  • Various projects to analyse and unload legacy systems with data for rights & royalty processing, e.g. address data, product and contract data, sales lines.
  • Various projects to unload and move customer data from one Klopotek installation into another, or to delete customer data.

2011: CA-Automic/UC4 and ERP Integration

• 12 month, Klopotek GmbH
• Replacement of an integrated legacy scheduler interface with UC4 Automic, for the Klopotek ERP-System for Publishing Houses. Programming work in PowerBuilder and Java.
• Synchronisation between Online and Backoffice based on UC4-Script

2012 - 2015: UC4 and Migrations

• for Klopoet customers Exchange of Klopoteks complete installation base in Europe and North America, usually done in work assignments at customer premises all over Europe Development of a toolset for batch plan analyis, extraction and automated creation of UC4 objects
• Technology: SQL-based extraction, XML- and Xpath-based object creation

2015 - 2017: UC4 and Plan Management

• ca 20 customers in 2 Klopotek run data centers in EU and US, support for customers with own SaaS operations
• Introduction of best practice approaches to setup and operate batch plans in SaaS multi-tenant environments
• Definition of handling procedures to allow strict environment separation, easy plan rollout and transfer, rollback and seamless embedding in SLA procedures

2013: UC4 and Monitoring

• continous optimization
• Development and rollout of a custom configurable automated monitoring system for bacth plans and key procedures.
• Based on various UC4 functionalities, particularly E-Mail and statistic subsystems

  • Best practice definitions and subsequent development support for a tool for incremental SQL code delivieries to support data model versions and branches and different rollout sequences at customer installations.

  • Development of various components for an ERP system for ook publishers; based on PowerBuilder and Oracle. Programming of SQL queries for PB
