• Urlaubs- und Resourcenplanung
• Internes und externes Reporting
• Fortbildungs-Planung und -Steuerung

• Test- und betriebsverantwortlich für CWDM, SDH / PDH Multiplexer im Kunden Testcentrum München
• Usermanagement, Defekthandling und Konfiguration der Netzelemente
• Durchführung der Abnahmetests und Defektreporting
• Unterstützung der Entwicklung bei der Fehleranalyse
• Koordination und Kommunikation mit den internen Kunden

• Engineering von komplexen IT Systemen, Netzwerkdesign, Kapazitätsplanung
• LifeCycle- und Projektmanagement diverser OSS Systeme
• Einführung neuer Technologien im IT- und Mobile-Umfeld
• Erstellen von Systemdokumentationen, Wartungsplänen und Betriebsanweisungen
• Changemanagement und Defektmanagement sowie Steuerung der Lieferanten
• Kommunikation und Reporting in Richtung des Auftraggebers

• Lifecycle- und Projektmanagement OSS Systeme
• Engineering von komplexen IT Systemen, Netzwerkdesign, Kapazitätsplanung
• Einführung neuer Technologien im IT- und Mobile-Umfeld
• Erstellen von Systemdokumentationen, Wartungsplänen und Betriebsanweisungen
• Changemanagement und Defektmanagement sowie Steuerung der Lieferanten
• Kommunikation und Reporting in Richtung des Auftraggebers

• Entwicklung von Test-Prozeduren und -Verfahren basierend auf den Kundenanforderungen für das Ericsson O&M System SOA / SOI.
• Technische Leitung des Testteams. Teamgröße typisch 3-5 Personen.
• Planung sowie Durchführung von Review Meetings.
• Engineering der Testumgebung und des Testnetzwerks.
• Überwachung der Testinstallation und der Inbetriebnahme.
• Konfiguration der Testinstallation. (Multiplexer OMS und MS1/4, Tellabs DXC Mini, Radio PDH/SDH, Radio PMP.
• Defekt Reporting und Defekt Handling. Fehleranalyse sowie Unterstützung bei der Lösungsfindung mit der Entwicklung.
• Installation und Konfiguration des Testsystems als Referenz zum Kundennetzwerk. Härten der Betriebssysteme (HP-UX, Linux) nach Vorgabe des Kunden.
• Durchführung des Clean Run und des Type Acceptance Tests.

• Verantwortlich für Type Acceptance Tests für O6M Systeme von Ericsson (OSS-RC, Ericsson SOA), Siemens (TNMS), Andrew (Aimos) und teilweise für Nortel (Preside).
• Koordination und Steuerung der First Office Application Tests
• Review, Selektion und Weiterentwicklung der, vom Lieferanten gestellten, Testfälle.
• Fehleranalyse, Fehlerreporting sowie Defektmanagement.
• Verifikation der gelieferten (Software)Lösungen.
• Unterstüzung benachbarter Projekte bei der Integration (z.B. TeMIP, Configuration Provisioning System, …)
• Monitoring und Reporting des Testfortschritts. Steuerung und Überwachung der Lieferanten.
• Durchführung von Integrationstests für neues Transport Equipment.
• Betrieb aller Server im Testsystem (Windows 2003, Windows XP, HP-UX, und Solaris).
• Initiieren, Steuern und Überwachen von Wartung und Reparaturen an Testsystemen.

• Developing procedures for Integration Tests, Functional Tests, Type Acceptance Tests (TAcc), Field Acceptance Tests (FAcc) and First Site Application (FSA) for O&M systems from Marconi (Nsue, SOA, SOI) and ECI (eNM, EMS, Lightsoft, Nortel (OMEA, Sitemanager, CPL) and also Andrew (Mikom, OMC, AIMOS).
• Integration of net elements (DWDM, DXC, ADM, Radio,...) under these O&M systems.
• Executing of TAcc, FAcc, and FSA, trouble follow-up, coordination of software rollouts, and 3rd level support for these systems.
• Support for integration of these O&M systems under an umbrella fault management system (TEMIP) and the company specific circuit provisioning tool (TCCM).
• Developing operational concepts for these O&M systems. Integration in NMS and TNM.
• Managing the whole software developing process from customer point of view.
• Creating proposals for the development of new features, handle change requests, prepare and execute design reviews, prepare and execute engineering tests, the whole acceptance process and coordination of rollout for operation.

• Commissioning, testing and developing of procedures and documents in worldwide transmission projects.
• Responsible for the achievement of complex telecom transmission installations. With hands on SDH and PDH equipment, especially Cross connects on Metro and Core level.
• Also for designing and implementing of Data Communication Networks (LAN and WAN) for Network Management. With TCP/IP and OSI (Retrix). Therefore managing a team of engineers, typical 3 to 8 members.
• Responsible for organization and communication with the local units, related to installation and commissioning. Also for fulfillment inside time and cost lines.
• Planning and performing of software migrations in live traffic transmission networks.
• Developing procedures for complex hardware reconstructions, e.g. Matrix upgrades, and performing them on live traffic transmission nodes.
• Test of software installation routines and develop installation manuals according to these procedures.
• Third level support for technical issues (commissioning and maintenance) for the department staff.
• Projects carried out in: all over Europe, USA, Mexico, China, Macao, Taiwan, South Africa and Egypt.
• Developing and performing training of local Alcatel personal and customer personal in all technical issues of Alcatel DXCs. So these persons are afterwards able to do commissioning and maintainance for the Alcatel cross connects. This training includes HP-UX, Solaris, TCP/IP and OSI Networking, software installation, in service upgrades, failure analysis, hardware extensions as also operating and maintenance
